Niftylift, a global leader in mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), celebrated its prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade with a reception ceremony at its Shenley Wood headquarters in Milton Keynes on November 29th.
The event featured the formal presentation of the award by His Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Francis Habgood, DL QPM, to Niftylift’s Managing Director, John Keely. Sir Francis was also given an exclusive tour of Niftylift’s world-class manufacturing facilities, showcasing the company’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation.
The King’s Award recognises Niftylift’s remarkable export growth, with sustained year-on-year increases over three years. The company now exports its innovative, environmentally friendly MEWPs to over 70 countries, underlining its position as a leader in powered access solutions.
John Keely, Managing Director, commented:
“Achieving the King’s Award is an honour and reflects the dedication of our team. Over the last three years, we’ve seen tremendous growth in international sales, which now span more than 70 countries. We remain committed to providing innovative, sustainable solutions that meet the demands of the global powered access market.”
Roger Bowden, Chairman and Founder of Niftylift, added:
“As a UK-based manufacturer, we are proud to have built a strong reputation for quality and innovation that resonates globally. While our reach extends across continents, our roots remain firmly in the UK, where we continue to support the powered access industry and provide meaningful opportunities for our local community in Milton Keynes.”
The reception also highlighted Niftylift’s industry-first innovations, such as the award-winning HR15 H2E, the world’s first hydrogen-electric MEWP, which combines zero-emission battery technology with revolutionary hydrogen fuel cell integration. These advancements, alongside patented safety systems and a commitment to sustainability, solidify Niftylift’s reputation as a forward-thinking leader in the powered access sector.
The King’s Award for Enterprise is the highest accolade a UK business can achieve and is a significant milestone in Niftylift’s ongoing journey of growth and excellence.
