Prime Minister Mikati inaugurated “Project Lebanon Going Forward” Exhibition

Beirut – April 24, 2024: The 25th edition of Project Lebanon was launched today, with an official inauguration by H.E. Mr. Najib Mikati, the President of the Council of Ministers, and H.E. Ali Hamieh, the Minister of Public Works and Transport. The ceremony was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, officials, contractors, engineers, and distinguished guests at the Seaside Arena.

Following the ribbon-cutting, the guests explored the pavilions of France, Italy, Austria, and all the various stands showcasing a multitude of products and services.

Organized by IFP Group (International Fairs and Promotions), since 1995, Project Lebanon is renowned as the International Trade Exhibition for Construction, Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy in Lebanon and the Middle East. This year, the event shines under the theme "Lebanon Going Forward", highlighting the pivotal role of construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors in Lebanon's economic advancement.

Running from April 24th to April 26th, 2024, at the Seaside Arena – Beirut New Waterfront, the event hosts over 250 brands displaying a wide array of products, equipment, and innovations. These offerings drive trade and energize Lebanon’s construction and renewable energy industries, covering building materials, pipes, heating/cooling systems, energy management systems, solar technology products, heavy equipment, and more.

With a legacy of 24 successful editions, Project Lebanon has established itself as the annual international business platform for the construction and renewable energy industries, and is expected to draw thousands of Engineers, Contractors, Project Owners, and other industry professionals from Lebanon and the region.

In keeping with its commitment to professional development, Project Lebanon has launched an in parallel Two-Day Conference on April 25th and 26th. The conference program, featuring renowned experts in Structural and Safe Engineering, Renewable Energy, Green Buildings, Sustainability, Health Safety and Environment, as well as port construction, and more, offers valuable insights for participants.

Participating entities in the conference include the Order of Engineers and Architects, Lebanese Solar Energy Society (LSES), Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), Lebanese Green Building Council (LGBC), Lebanese Chapter of ASHRAE, Saint Gobain Glass, and others.
