The 24th edition of Project Lebanon successfully concluded today after 4 vigorous days encompassing an exhibition, conference, and daily workshops.
Thousands of visitors from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and other neighboring countries flocked the exhibition to meet 250 local and international suppliers of construction and infrastructure products, equipment and technologies.
Organized by IFP Group (International Fairs and Promotions), Project Lebanon, the International Trade Exhibition for Construction Materials and Equipment for Lebanon and the Middle East, was held from 18 to 21 June 2019, at the Seaside Arena – Beirut New Waterfront, daily from 4 to 10 pm.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated on Tuesday, 18 June by H.E. Mr. Saad Hariri, the President of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of Ambassadors, Commercial Attachés, and other distinguished guests representing Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, China, Mexico, Egypt, France, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, India, Iran, Indonesia, and Bangladesh at the Seaside Arena.
This year, 250 exhibitors from 20 countries showcased a broad range of products, equipment, and innovations at Project Lebanon, in turn helping mobilize Lebanon’s construction industry via trade with local stakeholders. Products on display ranged from building materials, scaffolding, pipes and fittings to prefabricated structures, metalworking machinery, heavy equipment, water treatments and many others.
With a track record of 23 successful editions, Project Lebanon has cemented its position as the annual international business platform for the construction industry. It brings together leading local and international suppliers of building materials, equipment, and technologies, and paves the way for future partnerships.
Over a 4-day period, the exhibition attracted thousands of Engineers, Contractors, Project Owners and other industry professionals to network, explore a broad range of products, and negotiate deals.
In support of the development of construction, engineering, and energy professionals and students, Project Lebanon launched a series of daily specialized workshops. The workshops program covered a wide spectrum of topics allowing participants to gain valuable know-how from renowned experts in the fields of Architecture, Energy, Interior Design, HSE, and many more.
Moreover, Project Lebanon hosted its EcOrient Sustainability Conference on the second and third day of the exhibition. Held under the patronage of H.E. Mrs. Nada Boustani, the conference provided an ideal knowledge-sharing platform that welcomed academics, researchers, engineers, and leading experts in the fields of renewable energy, sustainable water management and treatment, green buildings, and much more.
