EllisDon Corporation has taken a significant leap in advancing its operational AI capabilities by partnering with Palantir Technologies. The collaboration aims to leverage Palantir’s advanced data analytics and AI platform to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and foster growth across EllisDon’s projects.
The partnership aligns with EllisDon’s broader digital transformation journey, which included over a decade of modernizing its legacy data infrastructure. The company’s digital and data engineering team successfully transformed the data environment into a modern, clean, and operationally optimized system. This overhaul has been instrumental in enabling the deployment of cutting-edge AI tools, placing EllisDon at the forefront of innovation within the construction technology industry.
Ezequiel Machabanski, vice-president of Insights and Analytics at EllisDon, praised the company’s progress in this area.
“EllisDon’s Data Infrastructure is absolutely one of the best, if not the best, in the industry,” he said. “When I joined EllisDon in Spring of 2023, I was very impressed with how far along their Data Infrastructure had already come.”
In addition to the Palantir collaboration, EllisDon is working with Scale AI, Canada’s Global AI Clusters, on an ambitious project to develop an AI-driven predictive tool for the construction supply chain. Launched in 2023, the project focuses on improving cost management, resource allocation, and project scheduling for subcontractors and other stakeholders. The tool is expected to enhance performance and efficiency across the construction supply chain, further strengthening EllisDon’s competitive edge in the market.
EllisDon’s Chief Information Officer, Brandon Milner, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Palantir Technologies.
“We are thrilled to finally announce this agreement with Palantir Technologies. This partnership has helped us achieve significant progress in our long-term strategic goals and positioned the company for continued success,” he said.
