Mecalac has introduced its MR50 and MR60 Tiltrotators to the North American market, offering versatility for various applications. The MR50 Tiltrotator is now compatible with the 9MWR and 11MWR wheeled excavators, as well as the 10MCR crawler-skid excavator. Meanwhile, the MR60 Tiltrotator is tailored for the 15MWR wheeled excavator and 15MC crawler excavator.

Both tiltrotators feature the twin CONNECT coupling system, ensuring compatibility with other Mecalac work tools. This system facilitates easy detachment of the tiltrotator when not in use, allowing operators to swiftly switch to alternative attachments like a loader bucket.

According to Peter Bigwood, General Manager for Mecalac North America, this innovative mounting solution enhances the renowned versatility and productivity of Mecalac excavators. He notes, "Placing a Mecalac tiltrotator between two CONNECT quick couplers is an innovative solution that further enhances the versatility and productivity Mecalac excavators are known for."

The Mecalac wheeled excavators, when paired with the tiltrotator, offer stability and balance for grading, shaping, and material placement tasks. The strategic positioning of the boom acts as a counterweight, ensuring stability even with added weight at the stick's end. The two-piece boom with offset kinematics enables precise positioning of tools, enhancing operational efficiency.

Moreover, Mecalac has equipped the MR50 and MR60 Tiltrotator options with dedicated multi-function joysticks, various tiltrotator configurations, and settings. Additionally, features like "Home" and "Bucket Shake" functions further enhance operational capabilities. These tiltrotators are available with or without a grab module, providing flexibility based on customer needs.

Looking ahead, Mecalac plans to introduce tiltrotators for the 8MCR crawler-skid excavator, followed by the 12MTX wheeled excavator loader. This expansion underscores Mecalac's commitment to innovation and meeting evolving customer demands.
